Appeal for Peace and Understanding
On behalf of Ahimsa Foundation India
At this critical moment of rising global tensions, the Ahimsa Foundation earnestly appeals to all leaders of the world, and particularly to the governments of the United States and Iran, to make their very best efforts to immediately halt the ongoing conflict and prevent any further escalation.
History has repeatedly shown that war, hatred, and violence never provide lasting solutions. Conflicts fought with weapons only deepen wounds, destroy lives, and leave behind suffering that lasts for generations. In every war, it is not the powerful who suffer the most—it is the innocent men, women, and children who pay the heaviest price through loss of life, displacement, and unimaginable hardship.
Humanity has always progressed through dialogue, mutual respect, and understanding, not through destruction and hostility. No political, territorial, or ideological difference can justify the tragic loss of innocent human lives.
We therefore urge all world leaders and international institutions to act with wisdom, restraint, and compassion. Let diplomacy replace aggression, and let dialogue replace confrontation. The world today needs peace, cooperation, and stability, not another cycle of violence.
Guided by the timeless principle of Ahimsa — non-violence, we humbly appeal to the leadership of both nations to step back from conflict and choose the path of peaceful negotiation and reconciliation.
