Tiruparuttikunram Tirth - Tamil Nadu

In ancient Tamil Nadu, there was a practice to mould Thirthankara images using bricks and lime stone mortar. The majestic image of Shri Chandraprabhu Swami Mouled using such method can be seen in the picture .The Jain temple is situated at Thrirunarungondai. The main temple is devouted to Shri Parswanath. The temple complex is nearly a 1000 year old. This temple is one for most visited place by Jains who live in Tamil Nadu.
