Belgaum Jain Tirth - Karnataka

Location : 502 Kms Away From Bangalore. 55 Kms Tawandi-Silawanidio.

It is a charming city, situated at the foothills of western Ghats. It is a major commercial center. Due to pleasant climate this is called as "Muni Bombay" or "Shimla" for the poor people.

This city is the center if Jain having 15 temples around 10 Kms area. Out of which temple of Bhagwan Neminath is worth seeing having three Chowbisi (Present-Past and future) as well as Navdevta idol on a betel leaf. Belgaum Fort is situated in 100 acre land. It is said it was constructed with the material of about 108 Jains temples of ancient time.
