This temple of Bhagwan Parshwanatha is located at Mudbidri Village, 35 Kilometers away from Manglore Railway Station, in the district of South Kannada. It is known from ancient history that Shri Bhadia Bahu Swami along with king Chandragupta and 12000 disciples had moved from Bihar to South India and had settled at Shrawan Belgola, in 4th century B. C. Some of the disciple saint come to Mudbidri also for spreading Jainism and built temples here. This temple, in particular is said to have been built in the year 714 A. D. The statue of the Parshwanatha Bhagwan installed here is 15 feet tall in standing position. The temple belongs to Digambar Sect.
